Top 10 Items For Your Wedding Registry
Hello, hello, and happy Tuesday! Today, I thought I would bring you a list of my top 10 items for your wedding registry. It’s getting to that time of year, when there are a lot of bridal showers because spring weddings are just around the corner!
I was a June bride and had my bridal shower at the end of March last year. I previously did a post all about where we registered and what we registered for. However, today’s post is about the items that we received off of our registry, that we actually use ALL THE TIME. These are the top items you need on your registry!

Guys, you need this KitchenAid Stand Mixer! I know, I know, it’s definitely expensive. However, some of your guests will purchase larger, more expensive presents. And you do not want to miss out on the opportunity to be the proud owner of this bad boy.
If you bake, cook, mix anything, you want this in your life. I never realized how time consuming baking was until I had something stirring for me! I probably use this mixer weekly and there are a number of attachments you could also add to your registry.
Okay, another pricey registry must-have here. I love Le Creuset products and was very lucky to receive a number of them for our wedding. But, this is by far the item I use the most. I use this dutch oven to make soups, chili, bulk pasta dishes. Honestly, it cooks anything that you want to simmer for a while and it does it perfectly.
This wasn’t even an item on our wedding registry, but we received this sheet pan and cooling rack set as a gift at my bridal shower. Thank goodness we did! I have never used a sheet pan where literally nothing sticks to it. You know you when you bake cookies, something is usually stuck on? And the cookie breaks and then you have to scrub like crazy to get it clean? Well, not with this one. Believe me. Add this to your registry.
Aspen Dish Set from Crate & Barrel
Two of my bridesmaids gifted us with all of the Aspen dishes from Crate & Barrel and I love them! We have the salad plates, dinner plates, low bowls (soup), and standard bowls. They are the perfect, classic place setting and make it easy to swap out holiday or seasonal decorations.
If you like being organized and get way too much pleasure from looking at an aesthetically pleasing pantry, then these containers need to be on your wedding registry!
First of all, they look really seamless, and just pretty. But more importantly, they seal so easily. Literally with the push of a button! They keep your food fresh and it’s really easy to know when you are running low on a pantry staple because of the clear plastic. These were one of the first items that came to mind when I was making this list of top ten items you need on your registry.
I love these towels! They are so soft and they dry well! There are a number of colors to choose from, but I really like this muted gray-blue. We received bath towels, hand towels, and face cloths from our wedding registry. If you are purchasing for someone else, just pick the color that goes with their aesthetic and you have yourself a winning gift!
Do you like sleep? Most people will say they love good, restful sleep. And pillows make a big difference in sleep, at least to me. These pillows are pricey, but I have found them to be worth it. Think about how much time you spend in bed. Now think about how you feel after tossing and turning all night. Not great, right? So, I encourage you to put these pillows on your wedding registry and let someone gift you a great night’s sleep.
Let’s stay on the topic of sleep and having a comfortable bed. I personally overheat at night and Jarrett is usually cold. This comforter seems to be the perfect mix of not too hot and not too light that it would make us freezing! Plus, this is a down alternative, so if you have allergies, no need to worry. Add this to your wedding registry and start dreaming about the coziest, comfiest bed you can imagine.
Vacuums are one of those adult things you probably don’t think about until you have a place you need to keep remotely clean. Jarrett does the vacuuming in our house, and he said the suction on this vacuum is amazing!
The amount he has to empty from the bagless container is both satisfying and kind of disgusting. Add this to your wedding registry so you can have a squeaky clean home!
Okay, people are definitely going to be in disagreement with this. But, hear me out. A lot of couple getting married already live together, or have lived separately but not at home with parents. Therefore, they own a lot of necessary home items already and may not feel the need to upgrade.
I know people love giving gifts that the couple will use, and giving the gift of cash towards a date night, or a couples massage, could be the perfect gift! Jarrett and I used Blueprint Registry, through which you can create a cash registry towards specific items. Instead of just asking outright for money, because ya know, tacky, you can choose to put the money towards items like flights to your honeymoon, a cooking class, or a home down payment.
Alright, that about wraps up the top 10 items you need on your wedding registry! If you are married, tell me your favorite items from your wedding registry. Is there anything you did not register for that you wish you received?
One More Thing!
Okay, before you jet off to work on your wedding registry, I wanted to fill you in on a new type of wedding registry! I just learned about Mishkalo, a wedding registry site that allows a couple to register for one-of-a-kind artwork! This is perfect for a couple that already has everything they need to outfit a home. Custom artwork is probably one of the most memorable gifts you could receive to celebrate such a special time in your lives!
Additionally, Mishkalo offers wedding websites, personal curation, and thank you notes available with an image of the artwork you received. Check it out and let me know what you think!
