March Lifestyle Favorites
Hey friends, I’m back from a whirlwind trip to New Hampshire! It was the most productive, exciting, and exhausting four days and I cannot wait to share it all with you. Stay tuned for a re-cap of our crazy weekend, and probably a more specific post on my bridal shower coming very soon 😊
Today, I’m sharing with you my March lifestyle favorites! Most of the items are food-related (surprise, surprise), but there are a few other things mixed in as well. Let me know your favorites from this past month or if you discovered any of the same items!

March Food Favorites
Boom Chicka Pop: Cinnamon Roll Kettle Corn
Let’s start with this amazing popcorn! I picked this up on a whim at the grocery store, mostly because our cart was looking a little too healthy, if you know what I mean. I have previously tried chocolate coated flavors from Boom Chicka Pop, but this cinnamon roll just called to me! Also, if you have seen previous favorites posts, you know my cinnamon addiction is real. Let’s just say the cinnamon roll Oreos and cinnamon bun Halo Top are all-time winners in my book!
This popcorn is very sweet, so you don’t need to have a ton to be satisfied. Although, the serving size is a decent amount, so you can actually get away with eating your fair share.
This pop-up “restaurant”/”food truck” is incredible! I had heard about this foodie favorite multiple times, but Jarrett and I finally got a taste this past month when they popped up at Benchtop Brewing Company. They specialize in gourmet waffle sandwiches and did not disappoint.
My waffle was topped with greens, sundried tomatoes, bacon, chive aioli, and a sunny side up egg. Perfection! The waffles had a bit of maple syrup and the bacon had to have been candied… it was incredible. From what I have seen, Waffletina is opening up their own cafe and I cannot wait to visit!
If you are in the Norfolk, Virginia area, make sure you try to find a pop-up location or visit the cafe.
More specifically, this donut! I actually chose this flavor because a line was forming behind me and it was one of their pre-set combos. Who else feels like they need to rush their order when someone else comes in?? Also, is there anything that causes more anxiety than trying to put change back into your wallet quickly? Sorry for the change in topic.
This was the perfect cake donut, with vanilla frosting, chocolate glaze, and rainbow sprinkles. It sounds so simple, but it was literally the most mouth-watering combination. Duck Donuts always outdoes itself.
Now, on a much healthier note, I started taking a superfoods supplement this month. Although I take a daily vitamin and am generally good about eating my veggies, I just thought I would try putting in the little extra effort. I found this product on Amazon and this flavor (sweet berry) is actually so tasty! I thought for sure I would have a hard time getting this concoction down, but I just mix it with water and sip away.
As far as benefits go, I do feel like it has helped my digestion (if you know what I mean 😉). Plus, there can’t be a downside to ingesting more antioxidants.
Thayer’s Witch Hazel: Lavender
This was the month I discovered witch hazel toner! I have considered using a toner for a while now, but I feel like as I have aged, my skincare routine has been getting exponentially longer. Face wash, toner, serum, eye cream, moisturizer… when will it end?! But, I caved, and snagged this bad boy on Amazon. Because Prime is life.
I apply the toner to a cotton pad and swipe across my face after each wash. And you guys, it removed more dirt after I had washed my face! For the first few days, all I could think about was how I had been previously leaving this on my face. Like my face was dirty, for decades! Now, it is fascinating and disturbing, but very satisfying to feel like my skin is squeaky clean after I use this toner.
Also, it is very refreshing and not at all drying!
Sex and the City
Anyone else re-watch a television show when they are bored? Jarrett had a crazy month at school, which left me with more free time than usual. So, I started watching Sex and the City! I think I first watched this series in college, so it has been a number of years. I love that the episodes are only 20ish minutes and it’s just an easy show to have on in the background if I am doing things around the house.
What shows have you watched multiple times?
I hope you all enjoyed this post on my March lifestyle favorites! Check back soon for more information on our trip to New England and let me know what you have been loving recently.
