The Best Trader Joe’s Food Products
Hello friends, and happy October! I am fully embracing the change in seasons, as much as I can with this heat! But fall home decor is out and I shopped for all of the seasonal goodies at Trader Joe’s this past weekend. I’m going to show you the best Trader Joe’s food products that I buy consistently. Plus, I snapped pics of items that are perfect festive for this time of year, but that I didn’t purchase this time around.
What are your favorite Trader Joe’s food products? If you have one near you, I feel like you have to have items you can’t leave without!
Trader Joe’s Food Products I Always Purchase
Chili Lime Chicken Burgers– These are so easy to throw on a pan or grill (if you’re lucky and you have one)! You can cook them directly from frozen, they stay juicy, and they’re delicious!
Curry Sauce– I got red curry this time around, but last time we got yellow. Haven’t tried the green yet, but I’m sure its delicious! I use Trader Joe’s to stock up on random things I can use to make a meal, when I am fresh out of ideas. Ha!
Cauliflower Gnocchi- Oh the holy grail! Definitely buy these, but do not cook according to the instructions. I recommend that you bake them around 375 for like 30 minutes, and then broil at the end for a few to get them crispy on the outside! Mmmmm.
Perfect Bars– This isn’t a Trader Joe’s product, but they always have the biggest variety and the best prices on these refrigerated bars. I snagged the seasonal Pumpkin Spice flavor, and chocolate chip cookie dough.
Dark Chocolate Almonds (Sea Salt & Turbinado Sugar)– Okay, this is another products that I literally will not leave the store without. But, I have to watch myself, because once they’re open, I go through them like a mad woman. I snagged two packages of these. 🙂
Refried Beans- Another basic pantry item that gives you a meal idea. Plus, I just think they’re tasty.
Chicken Sausage- Lastly, I always get chicken sausage from Trader Joe’s because you cannot beat the price! They have a number of different flavors to choose from, but I usually get apple for myself and andouille for Jarrett. We’ll have this with the cauliflower gnocchi and a veggie for an easy weeknight meal.

Food I’m Trying Out
Cauliflower & Butternut Squash Risotto- This just sounded delicious and a nice way to bring a sense of fall into more savory dishes!
Ravioli- I grabbed two varieties: Sweet Italian Sausage & Four Cheese, and Goat Cheese & Sun-dried Tomato. More easy meal ideas and these can be frozen!
Salmon Burgers/Mahi Mahi Burgers- We have tried the Mahi Mahi Burgers and Jarrett really loved them. I thought they were just okay, so I grabbed the salmon burgers for myself this time!
Fun Seasonal Trader Joe’s Food for Fall
Autumnal Harvest Soup- Perfect if you like soups! I would have this with a hearty bread. 🙂
Pumpkin Bisque- This also looked delicious! Maybe throw in some fennel sausage and potatoes?
Fall Pasta- I think this is butternut squash pasta and it’s in these adorable pumpkin shapes!
Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookie Mix- This was very tempting. However, it’s Jarrett’s birthday this week, and I already have plans to bake a very large cake. So we didn’t need more desserts. If it’s still there next time I go, I may have to snag it.
Fall Harvest Salsa- I wasn’t sure how I felt about apples in my salsa, but if you like mango salsa, you may want to test this out!
Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese- This looked like a delicious, easy freezer meal for when life is too busy to bother making food! Ha!
Cheesy Spaghetti Squash Casserole- Another really good meal to keep in your freezer, plus I love spaghetti squash.
Maple Ginger Cookie Swirl Ice Cream- Ice cream is the perfect dessert year-round and this flavor screams “fall!”
Pumpkin Rolls- These are pumpkin cinnamon rolls with pumpkin icing. Need I say more?

Products I Love But Didn’t Buy This Time
Pancake Bread- Believe me, just try it. Its perfectly moist, but crumbly, with the right hint of syrup flavor and smell.
Unexpected Cheddar Cheese- Another classic Trader Joe’s purchase. We just didn’t need anymore cheese in the house.
Cowboy Caviar Salsa– One of my favorite salsas! It’s mostly corn and black beans, with the perfect amount of spice. The best for scoops chips!
Jo-Jos – Trader Joe’s version of Oreos and so yummy! They offer seasonal varieties, with pumpkin spice currently available. My favorite are the peppermint Jo-Jos.
Cookie Butter– Last, but certainly not least. Cookie butter is my favorite to put on apples!
Alright, those are all of my favorite Trader Joe’s food products, and a few fall items I passed on this trip. Tell me what you always buy at Trader Joe’s!
