Hello, hello! So Sunday, I polled Instagram about whether or not you wanted to see holiday home decor, or a women’s gift guide first. It was a close one, folks, but Christmas home decor won out! Don’t you fret though, a women’s gift guide for […]
Good morning, friends! Now, you can probably assume what today’s post is about, based on the title. If you have been a long-time blog reader, then you may recall that last Valentine’s Day, I gifted Jarrett with a custom wooden watch from Jord. It was […]
Happy Tuesday! While I was trying to come up with more content for the rest of the calendar year, I realized something. Some of my favorite posts on other blogs are ones where they talk about what they are currently eating, obsessed with, wearing, etc. […]
Happy Friday! Today, I’m coming at you with my current evening skincare routine, which has been seriously improved thanks to Modere! A couple months ago, a friend reached out, asking if I would be willing to try an anti-aging skincare line. One which gave her […]
Happy Tuesday! It has been a hot minute since I did a lifestyle favorites post. With the wedding and a lot of travel the last couple months, I honestly didn’t have time to try out new products. But, lately, there have been a number of […]
I know, I know, it’s only November 2nd. But, as soon as Halloween is done, I start looking forward to Thanksgiving and then obviously Christmas. Now, I counted all weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and Christmas Eve. There are 25 days in which you can […]
Good morning, friends! Not exactly sure what time you are checking in to this post. It could be as early as 6am, since that is when my posts go live! Whether or not you are actually reading this in the early am, I wanted to […]
Happy Friday! It has now reached peak fall weather in the state of Virginia and I have officially moved all of my sweaters to the front of my closet! It is sweater weather people, and I’m here for it. Give me weather that allows me […]
Hello, hello and happy Tuesday, friends! Yet another weekend has gone by in a flash and before we know it, it will practically be Thanksgiving! And, yes, I know Halloween still has to happen. But, I don’t like Halloween, so until we have our own […]
Hello, hello, and happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and that you got to enjoy some beautiful fall weather! Virginia is now on board with the season, thank goodness. Our weekend was full of celebrating the wedding of two of our best […]
Happy Friday! It has now reached peak fall weather in the state of Virginia and I have officially moved all of my sweaters to the front of my closet! It is sweater weather people, and I’m here for it. Give me weather that allows me to wear a sweater, a pair of jeans, and booties, and I’m good. I’m even okay with it dipping down a bit to allow for a light jacket or scarf. This, my friends, is the most glorious time of the year.
A bit dramatic, I know, but I’ve been told I have a flare for that. Ha! In any case, a lot of stores are currently having great sales. Sweaters can be expensive, but I have put together a great list of affordable pieces that can transition into the colder months and fit seamlessly into your closet. Some are classic and go with anything, while others have a little pizzazz. I hope you find a sweater or two, either for yourself, or a friend. Because, you know Christmas is coming!

I personally think that Gap is amazing for staple pieces. These sweaters will go with anything you already own and keep you warm into the colder months! Think classic.
Loft can get a little funky, compared to its sister Ann Taylor. Sweaters are more eclectic, while still chic, and put some fun in your attire! When I think of Loft, I think of 20-30s career woman who still goes out on the weekends. Ha!
These are all deals and Target style has gotten better and better over the years.
Nordstrom will definitely give you more high-end pieces, but there is a great variety in-store and online. I personally love online shopping at Nordstrom because of the free shipping and free returns. Can’t beat it, especially if you’re like me and hate trying things on in-store.
I hope you found a great piece or two to add to your wardrobe! Be on the lookout for holiday gift guides starting up soon- Christmas is practically here!
